Position summary :
The IT Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for activities related to the IT portfolio including, but not limited to, tactical portfolio operations, data consolidating and cleansing, providing training and one on one support to the IT community, and maintaining close relationships with internal customers.
Essential duties & responsibilities : (detailed description)
Perform data quality checks and process monthly forecasts for projects and enhancements.
Communicate discrepancies in monthly forecasts to portfolio managers.
Assume the Project Management role for cost tracking projects.
Initiate the assessment process by setting up files and engaging relevant stakeholders.
Load initial forecasts, start the project record, and close out the demand record in ServiceNow once demand review board is complete.
Monitor demand record quality for projects and enhancements and work with business partners to adjust accordingly.
Assist with yearly release schedule, offline major release files, and release documentation checks.
Support project budgeting process by entering and maintaining placeholder forecasts.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to resolve critical issues around portfolio and data.
Support IT portfolio processes through continued education of the established processes.
Maintain and monitor manual data sets (i.e. capacity target updates).
Ability to perform various analyses from various data sources.
Build a network / rapport with business partners, IT finance, PMO, and build teams.
Perform other work as assigned by management related to supporting Portfolio Operations.
Education & special trainings :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Qualifications & experience :
Experience with Portfolio management is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint / Word)
Proficiency in Excel is required
Experience with data analysis is preferred
