The Global IT team are seeking a highly skilled program manager who will help drive the team toward our mission of being the best IT support organisation in the world.
The ideal candidate has experience in leading large scale projects / programs from initiation through delivery in a technology organisation / role.
As a program manager for Global IT, you will lead projects focused on the delivery of a new feature, service, product, or system, all of which are aimed at making us the best IT support organisation in the world.
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to, the following :
Gathering business requirements
Document functional and design specifications
Identify appropriate resources needed
Assemble the right project team
Assign individual responsibilities
Develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project.
Program Managers blend a mix of business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-
offs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints. The successful candidate will rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3-5+ years of relevant program management experience.
Experience in core project management disciplines with associated industry qualification (PMP, CAPM, CSM, etc)
MBA or equivalent degree
This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills. Candidates should have experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets;
as well as analyzing cost / benefit of feature selection.
The successful candidate will have a customer focus, a diverse work experience, and a business curiosity / strategic viewpoint.
The candidate will have an attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, good judgment, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to self-start and self-motivate.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously whilst being comfortable with ambiguity and having an ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment
It is critical that the candidate has a proven track record of earning trust, taking ownership, and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
