The Business Development Manager will drive strategic business partner development initiatives for Adobe Document Cloud.
This position will be responsible for a wide range of activities including developing partner and market strategies, identifying which companies are strategic for partnership(s), engaging those partners, and then developing solutions for how Adobe and the partner can work together.
This role will be dependent on selling a partnership opportunity and value proposition to the partner as well as internal Adobe teams and executives, formalizing the contractual agreement, and finally leading the execution of the partnership.
Identify and develop new business / market opportunities, business models, and channels to extend market reach and drive new distribution, awareness, and revenue opportunities through partners
Expand relationships with existing commercial (Enterprise and SMB) and consumer partners at an executive level by uncovering expansion opportunities, developing and driving go-to-market strategies
Coordinate the negotiation of sophisticated, partner agreements that require technical / architectural, business model and market alignment
Develop critical initiatives and drive consensus and development of execution plans across functional teams - internally and externally
7+ years of Business to Business (b2b) software experience at leading companies with business development, sales, or OEM / strategic alliances' experience, ideally in the SaaS space
Possess knowledge of developing strategic partnerships and have a successful track record negotiating, closing, and leading large and complex contractual agreements
Ability to work in and lead in a team environment and to effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organization (both internally and externally), including a consistent track record to effectively run virtual cross-functional teams to achieve key results
Proven, tangible results in Sales and / or Business Development
Phenomenal at execution : results-oriented, organized self-starter
Creative and a strategic problem solver
Ability to conceive and execute new business models
Experienced with and comfortable prospecting for partners in new markets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
