The Opportunity
This team is comprised of technology-savvy individuals who have experience in commerce and know its value in driving company strategies.
Work directly with our clients to understand business and technical requirements, and to develop solutions to ensure success!
What You Will Do :
The Frontend Architect for Adobe Commerce will lead our Frontend solutions for PWA, headless and storefront themes for our customers.
Perceived as a technical leader both within Adobe Commerce Services but also within the larger technical community internally, and with the technical staff of Adobe customers and partners.
Interactions are at all levels within the company and partner organizations but are most impactful at the senior technical and executive level.
Viewed as a technical source matter expert, you will :
Lead Professional Services’ Frontend solutions around PWA, headless and storefront themes
Articulate the architectural vision to clients, sponsors and internal or external teammates.
Validate client’s roadmap against Adobe Commerce current or expected features. Conceptualizes and experiments with alternative architectural approaches.
Validate the architecture against requirements and assumptions.
Verify and validate development process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and methodology.
Identify and resolve technical issues. Invents, validate, and implement new architectural approaches.
Create new development methodologies that improve outcomes and business results.
Always represent Adobe (work product, communications, presence) professionally in both client and team situations
What you need to succeed
BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Adobe Commerce experience
10+ years of software development experience
5+ years real-world, e-commerce experience with Adobe commerce development, including solid knowledge of Adobe commerce Front End best practices (Luma and PWA Studio)
Knowledge Adobe Commerce 2 layouts Experience with ReactJS, VueJS, Redux and PWA
Excellent knowledge in PHP, CSS3, HTML5, XML, JavaScript
Understanding of UI components in Adobe Commerce
Understanding of Knockout JS, jQuery, Prototype
Understanding of OOP principles, and ability to use them in JavaScript
Experience with task runners (Grunt, Gulp)
Experience with CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS, etc.)
Thorough understanding of cross-browser development and responsive design techniques
Understanding of DBMS (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
Semantic and valid coding
Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN)
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD
Knowledge of 508 accessibility standards
Experience with email template development

Experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
Experience using the Adobe commerce code standard command line interface
Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager and other Adobe products
