Run the facility production planning by creating, reviewing, updating and managing the planning schedule.
Coordinate production workflow for all the products manufactured at Costa Rica facility.
Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
Schedule shifts according to production needs.
Monitor production to ensure that orders will finish on time.
Implement planning process using SAP.
Be in constant communication with Customer Service in order to plan customers’ requirements per open POs and / or forecast.
Maintain planning data updated so that Purchasing, and Logistics areas can be informed and make decisions as required.
Ensure that metrics established for the department are met and reported accordingly.
Bachelor’s Degree Engineering degree.
A minimum of 1-year experience in Planning, Purchasing, Traffic and Inventory Management of production plants.
Fluent English with excellent verbal and written skills at (80%).
Proficient in SAP.
Operations / Manufacturing knowledge.
Knowledge in a medical devices industry and regulation is a plus.
MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning).
Strong verbal and written communications skills to communicate with all levels of Associates.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
Good organizational skills.
Initiative and leadership skills.
Accurate and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
