Job Description
The Cloud Engineer designs, develops highly available and scalable architecture and systems to support cloud deployments in a high paced health care environment.
Identifies specific technologies and services for cloud-native applications and services. Drive solutions and best practices by mentoring fellow architects and engineers.
Adapts and migrates existing on-premises applications and processes to be cloud optimized. Advises senior management on cloud best practices.

Required Professional Expertise :
Experience with Agile approaches and concepts. (Solid working knowledge)

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or equivalent experience
Technical Skills :
Extensive experience deploying, configuring, and scaling solutions in a secure Azure IaaS and PaaS environment (VMs, VNET, NSG Rules, VPN Gateways, Firewalls) TOP 1
Experience configuring a secure Office 365 environment including Exchange, Teams and SharePoint. TOP 2
Experience monitoring the cloud environment for security risks and the ability to evaluate, respond, and remediate. TOP 3
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing public cloud-based infrastructure in an Azure environment. (mid-experienced) essential
Additional Information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Application of industry experience and best practices to architect, design, develop, and implement Azure and Office 365 architecture and infrastructure solutions in support of complex business requirements
Firm grasp on cloud security and compliance. Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud security and privacy ensuring they meet the highest security compliance requirements such as (HIPPA and GDPR).
Serving as a hands-on SME for DevOps and infrastructure automation in a cloud environment including forecasting and new trends.
Offer guidance as well as hands on support in identifying and implementing infrastructure migration techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
Experience developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts.
Leading and mentoring internal associates to ensure cloud competency and to ensure project success.
Apply project management and administration skills with strong level of proficiency
Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes
