The business manager is responsible for the managing and developing business opportunities for St. Joseph Cathedral Basilica Gift Shop.
This includes ordering and managing inventory, managing accounts, maintaining financial records and in collaboration with the pastor and the diocesan liturgy director maintaining relationships with parishes to supply local parishes with liturgical supplies and resources through the Gift Shop.
The gift shop manager is also responsible for supervising and scheduling the sales staff and volunteer team.

JOB SCOPE :
Position requires ongoing training and coordination with the Pastor of Saint Joseph Cathedral. Position operates from general directions and instructions, but also determines own practices and procedures, performing with moderate supervision.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, talk, reach, sit, hear, handle and perform repetitive motions of the hands / wrists.
Lifts and moves items up to 20 pounds.
