SUMMARY / PURPOSE :
Enhancing the service culture is one of the most important goals of Human Resources at Confluent. The HRIS Analyst significantly helps in the delivery of quality service to the organization and helps support human resources tools for employees and managers.
The position’s primary focus is to maintain and enhance the human resource information systems (HRIS) and provide necessary data to customers within Confluent.
This technical partner role determines system requirements with HR SMEs to ensure system functionality and data integrity.
The HRIS analyst supports the implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, and patches, and manages related testing.
This position is also responsible for ad hoc reporting, metrics generation, and process flow documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
System Maintenance : Assist in the review, testing and implementation of human resource management system upgrades or patches.
Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Prepare and maintain human resource cycle set up (e.
g., compensation system, performance appraisal system, open enrollment, etc.). Document processes and results.
performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Projects / Process Improvement : Recommend process / customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and / or major variations from established processes.
Serve as a key liaison with system vendors and other internal stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Manage HRIS projects.
Reports / Queries : Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing internal customer needs.
Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Training : Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train internal customers (managers and employees) on new processes / functionality.
Train new system users.
Individual Development : Maintain awareness of current trends in HR management system with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
Participate in user group meetings / conferences.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
