Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting
Our client, an industry-leading SaaS Company, is looking for a Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting to join their team due to growth.
In this high visibility and impactful role, you will report to the Senior Director of External Reporting and will be responsible for making an immediate impact as the Company scales internationally.

Responsibilities :
Serve as a subject matter expert in complex accounting topics such as business combinations. debt arrangements, leases, etc.
Interpret U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance to determine accounting and financial reporting treatment
Draft technical accounting policy memos documenting accounting analysis and conclusions
Assist in operationalizing any changes associated with the Company’s growth and expansion of business
Assist with global stock-based compensation and equity accounting
Assist in drafting and maintaining global accounting policies
Review SEC filings and financial statements including cash flows, EPS, etc.
Analyze peers’ filings and industry reports to assess trends in financial statement disclosures
Monitor and revise accounting policies and procedures as needed to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over external financial reporting
Collaborate with other stakeholders in the Company and execute on finance-related projects and initiatives, as assigned from time to time.
Support annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Active California CPA required
At least 3 years of experience in Big 4 firm
Excellent understanding of US GAAP with a strong knowledge of SEC reporting regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Proven self-starter with exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
