Job Purpose :

The Technology Resilience Review Manager is responsible for managing a group of Technology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that assess the recovery risk of current and future application and infrastructure architectures.

The ideal candidate would have a strong technical background with at least 10 years of experience in architecture / design, application development or infrastructure management with exposure to emerging technology and services (e.

g., Cloud, Digital. API / MicroServices). Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization is also a key driver for this position.

The role will be responsible for Working with respective Product / Function and Regional BCM and Technology Teams to identify key projects to be reviewed with focus on emerging technologies (e.

g., hybrid cloud, block chain, robotics, API / MircoServices, Digital) that impact our IT and Business recovery and testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

The role will be responsible for the following :

  • Working with respective Product / Function and Regional BCM and Technology Teams to identify :
  • key projects to be reviewed with focus on emerging technologies (e.g., hybrid cloud, block chain, robotics, API / MircoServices, Digital) that impact our IT and Business recovery and testing strategies.
  • Targeted Franchise Critical Applications required for review
  • Create, enhance and maintain assessment criteria for key technologies including Cloud, Fintech, Robotics
  • Develop and maintain the assessment schedule
  • Track assessment completion, identified gaps and corrective actions to completion including any identified gaps as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting of correction actions.
  • Validate that corrective action taken adequately addresses the recoverability concerns identified.

  • Attend assigned architecture forums and project updates. This includes partnering with the specific application development teams, Sector Architecture Teams, Citi’s Technology Infrastructure (CTI) and Citi’s Enterprise Architecture & Technology Engineering (CATE) to assess, monitor and mitigate potential recovery risks based on changes and new technologies being introduced
  • Develop program level metrics and escalate risks associated with identified gaps and delays in corrective action
  • Develop, pilot and implement continuous improvements to the Technology Resilience Program
  • Partner with Citi’s Technology Infrastructure and Citi’s Enterprise Architecture & Technology Engineering to identify recovery risks and potential solutions at the Enterprise level to prevent re-
  • occurrence of these risks

  • Qualifications

    Knowledge and Experience :

  • 7+ years’ experience in Technology.
  • Actual experience and full understanding of application development, infrastructure platforms, architecture / network designs, database development and emerging technologies (e.
  • g. cloud, robotics, APIs, etc.) within the Banking or Financial a plus.

  • Audit or control risk management background desirable.
  • Knowledge of standard Control Risk Management frameworks
  • Experience in leading a team in managing global or cross-business projects in a matrix organizational structure

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience; Master’s Degree preferred;

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, set own priorities, and manage staff and multiple concurrent work streams
