Accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Record-to-Report organization, which includes the following service areas : General and Management Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Intercompany Accounting, as well as reporting and reconciliation activities, in highest quality with full compliance of local, corporate and audit requirements.
Recruit, lead, coach, and develop team to evolve with the planned organic growth of the business including the potential implementation of new services and the implementation of process optimization initiatives.
Provide reliable, best-in-class services for our customers by developing our people to take full ownership and accountability of delivery, business results and compliance.
Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Global Shared Services strategy.
Work in close collaboration with Service Delivery Coordinators, Global Business Process Owners and Global Business Process Managers
Follow and enforce governance for all global and local processes; ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
Drive operational excellence by using the Global Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as well as, Go-to-Green (G2G) initiatives for all service areas under R2R responsibility.
Contribute to the Global Service Catalog commitments at the Site Level.
Ensure Business Continuity in R2R area in case of any disruptive incident.
Collaborate closely with partner SSCs and site functions, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g. with increasing automation degree) in collaboration with Business Process Management and COE of Automation and Artificial Intelligence.
Plan, manage and control expenses towards set targets and commitments (budget management).
Evaluate individual performance frequently and objectively, not only for direct reports, but for team as a whole.
Manage and resolve complex project / initiative issues effectively, as well as proactively plan to prevent issues.
Act as an effective liaison between customers served and SSC through Affiliate Relationship Management model.
Master Degree in Business Administration or Economics.
Strong leadership skills for people management and development (10+years).
Experience in Shared Services management role.
Knowledge of Finance Shared Services (GAMA, AP, AR, etc.) and operational accounting processes and related technology.
Language : English & Spanish required, Portuguese and / or French preferred.
