The Sales Tools and Enablement team provides Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) with tools and analysis to optimize Sales productivity, effectiveness, and enhance decision making.

The team implements solutions through third-party software platforms and services as well as through custom development.

Implementations encompass the full lifecycle from process design and procurement through training and operational support.

The solution environment includes advanced analytics, business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards, Salesforce CRM, targeted Excel VBA applications, as well as Azure SQL and Teradata databases and cubes.

The team adheres to agile principles to deliver continuous and optimal value to our internal customers in response to dynamic changes in business requirements.

Job Description

  • Enhances the effectiveness and agility of the Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) organization and thus contributes to revenue and margin growth.
  • Collaborates in cross-functional project teams with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT, and external vendors.
  • Builds in-depth business function and technical knowledge and identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Gathers cross-functional business requirements and communicates solution designs.
  • Implements and supports Excel VBA business applications that consolidate inputs from global Sales users.
  • Implements SQL database models and procedures, and safeguards Sales data through effective data security.
  • Leverage SQL, BI tools, and Excel to produce ad-hoc data analyses and presentations.
  • Employs Advanced Analytics tools and methodologies to identify opportunities for revenue growth and process improvements.
  • Provides training and support to the Global Sales and Marketing organizations.
  • Evaluates new platforms, tools, and features.
  • Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degrees or similar work experience.
  • Experience with application development and configuration management in SQL, Excel VBA, or other programming languages.
  • Alternatively, demonstrated in-depth technical development experience and a willingness to acquire new programming languages.

    Experience in Salesforce and Azure are a plus.

  • Knowledge in methods and tools to wrangle and analyze large sets of data, including statistical methods. Knowledge in advanced analytics tools, such Python, R, Einstein Plus, Dataiku a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and / or Salesforce dashboards.
  • Experience with business analysis methods to gather and document requirements.
  • Collaborate successfully as a team member. Willingness and flexibility to perform tasks and fill roles as necessary for the project and team success.
  • Confident and assertive; communicate concepts clearly and precisely in written, verbal and presentation formats.
  • Self-starter with a propensity to execute and work with minimal supervision. Maintain a flexible work-life balance as necessary to collaborate with stakeholders across the globe.
  • Able to execute efficiently within time constraints.
