Job Summary :

  • Looking for a System Applications Engineering Intern with robotics experience to join the Wireless Connectivity Systems team.
  • This position will equip an ambitious candidate with the expertise and experience to build a career in System or SW Engineering.

  • Port and integrate existing robotics code that is running on a Raspberry Pi and Arduino based platform onto selected NXP i.
  • MX and LPCXpresso based platforms.

  • Integrate NXP UWB (Ultra Wide Band) technology onto an existing platform for further application specific development
  • Research, select, and develop a LIDAR or Camera with AI based mapping system for further application specific usage
  • This position will involve working closely with R&D team members in various System, HW, SW, and QA roles.
  • Job Qualifications :

  • The candidate must be working on a Bachelor or Master of Science in E.E. or C.S or similar.
  • Additional qualifications include : Good understanding of wired and wireless networking in general. Familiarity with UWB / Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / 802.
  • 15.4 is a plus.Prior experience with robotics (platforms, software, etc), as well as, robotic vision systems.Good understanding and experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and LinuxGood understanding and experience coding in C++, PythonTeam player with ability to work well with various stakeholders across the organization.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.Passion to do the best work and win.
