Job Role and Responsibilities :

The TCS team is responsible for designing and delivering Pre & Post GA technical training to technical support engineers;

customers; sales & support partners of VMware and VMware’s sales professionals globally. Our team looks for individuals who embody our values of humility, empathy, collaboration above isolationism, respectfulness, trustworthiness, and good-natured fun.

We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on intern to be part of a team of Project Managers within our Technical Content Development group.

You will work closely with our Project Managers to administer and modify our internal SharePoint site. Your efforts will ensure alignment between our processes and the tool.

You will learn how to admin for an enterprise group across SharePoint, PWA and Office 365.

Required Skills :

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Coursework (in some) of the following : Algorithms, Data Structures, Business Analysis, Educational Theory, Computer Architecture, Machine Learning, Analytics, Web Development

Working knowledge of PWA, Office 365 and SharePoint

Expertise in SharePoint 2013 / 2016 and related architecture

Knowledge of SharePoint Office 360

Working knowledge regarding migrating Content Databases using PowerShell; Developing PowerShell scripts for Site Backup / Restores, Library Files Backup / Restore etc.

Build Back-ups and Restore SharePoint 2010 Web Applications SQL 2008 Content Databases to SQL Server 2016

Build and develop Power BI visuals and data models as required

Effective communication to help end users define data requirements for reporting

Preferred Skills :

Microsoft Project 2016 or Server, Microsoft PowerApps development, Microsoft Flow architect.

Ability to work independently and effectively within and across teams

Data analysis, explore current need & evaluate data solution to meet demand

Data modeling, acquire & organize input data into a solution

Results validation, translate into supporting visuals to meet requirements

Knowledge of business forecasting tools, notification dashboard, exception reporting
