Our Data Governance team is tasked with ensuring our data is governed, accurate, and reliable on a day to day basis. This includes managing urgent escalations, tracking and monitoring changes in data, and observing trends to guide system improvements.
The Data Governance Analyst is the front line in ensuring that these goals come to fruition. This position reports to the Manager, Data Governance and will have a high degree of interaction with the Analytics, Business Operations, and IT functions across Palo Alto Networks.
Your Impact :
Work with internal stakeholders to solve service requests / issue resolution related to Data Governance
Relentlessly execute against overall ticket queue to adhere to SLA requirements
Analyze public data and provide recommendations on account hierarchies, merges, and enrichment values etc. based on research
Track and record trends in service requests and identify error rate
Work on implementation, communication, and ongoing support of data standards, policies and processes
Collaborate with the Data Governance team on documentation of data standard and policies
Perform analysis on ongoing account enrichment
Perform data updates and audit of account information to increase account accuracy
Your Experience :
Interest in the concerns and topics related to data governance.
Ability to work well with others
Ability to speak fluently in business language
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to pick up new tools,platforms, and business processes
Organized, proactive individual that can operate independently in solving complex problems with little guidance
Ability to manage requestor escalations through appropriate channels
Experience dealing with multiple teams and have a business centric approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
Experience with SFDC and SFDC tools (SOQL and ETL / Workbench) a big plus
Experience working with Google Suite (particularly spreadsheets)
