Job Description

Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipments, process and training.

Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way.

Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.

The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals.

May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.

High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

This role is for a Manufacturing Technician, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

  • Lot disposition Reject validation.
  • Identify tools Machines performance signals based on Data Analysis systems and Data Bases as well as the usage of Metrology equipment.
  • The candidate will report to Engineering.
  • The ideal candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits :

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma and Technical Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, Metrology or Related.
  • Competence to read and understand documentation in English. English level B1 CEFR.
  • At least 1 year of experience as technician in a Manufacture Environment and Maintenance.
  • Availability to work during weekends and night shifts.
  • At least 1 year of experience in : Circuit Debugging and Repairing, reading and running diagnostic tests, schematics interpretation experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

    They are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Knowledge using metrology such as Reject Validation and Measurement Inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge in Problem Solving Methodologies.
  • Knowledge in visual inspection operations and defect validation and disposition.
  • Windows Software Packages Proficiency.
  • Knowledge in Basic Statistical Process Control and Lot disposition tools.
  • Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) knowledge.
