Job Description

The Content Operations Team is looking to recruit a Content Editor who will be responsible for daily updates, maintenance, and summary writing of relevant material in product databases.

Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence provides news and analysis, regulatory source materials and regulatory event information to clients.

This content is delivered to over 1,000 clients through feeds and browsers and covers over 1,000 Regulators in more than 80 countries.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitors a variety of different external sources e.g. websites, and capturing relevant content for our media
  • Edits and updates internal content in response to regulatory or legislative changes.
  • Proficiently executes duties related to creating and / or acquisition of information such as analyzing, proofreading, editing and writing.
  • Translates / summarizes financial services regulatory information from Spanish / Portuguese sources into English
  • Researches regulatory content from Latin / Ibero American and Caribbean jurisdictions to enhance content offering and scope new content sources as required
  • Proactively acquire source material from multiple websites (governmental and others)
  • Ensure quality, accuracy and consistency of content through quality control checks
  • Creates and / or maintains process or product specific documentation.
  • Essential Skills

  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of literacy
  • Good translation and linguistic skills
  • Impeccable timekeeping, meeting all deadlines through effective prioritization
  • Good judgement and logical thought process
  • Responsible and mature approach to work

  • Understanding of content management systems
  • Fluency in an additional foreign language
