TheCommunications Coordinator is responsible for executing and implementing NICR’scommunications strategy to ensure regular, timely and relevant flow ofinformation throughout the organization supporting employee engagement andbranding initiatives.

A successful candidate will need to bring stronginterpersonal skills and a solid foundation in everyday communication bestpractices.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Assistin the planning and implementation for NICR internal and external campaignsthat supports the company’s goals and the Costa Rican office’s vision.
  • Developand create internal communications materials to ensure content meetsestablished communications standards, guidelines, and appropriate messaging.
  • Supportcontent production and storytelling needs, from different internalemployee-driven committee’s projects throughout the organization such as : Wellness, Events and others, ensuring that the content is creative andengaging.
  • Buildpositive working relationships with employee-driven committees’ acting as a liaisonwith the teams to manage logistics and promotion for employee events as needed.
  • Liaiseand collaborate with key stakeholders (Human Resources, General Manager) whohave communications needs in order to maximize relevant opportunities to createengaging and accurate content.
  • Managethe organization and documentation of the editorial calendar of employee-facingcontent and internal communications channels.
  • Continuousimprovement of core internal communication channels and establishment of newchannels including but not limited to newsletters, digital signage, companymeetings, intranet, cascade briefing etc.
  • Usedata to ensure optimal communications performance.
  • Performproject management responsibilities, event planning and logistics.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’sdegree in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
  • 2to 3 years of experience in a similar position in corporate communications, internalcommunications or public relations role.
  • Excellentverbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability toinfluence the actions of internal stakeholders and manage relationships withexternal stakeholders.
  • Strongservice-orientation, results driven and proactive.
  • Abilityto manage own work flow while meeting deadlines.
  • Teamoriented and collaborative working style.
  • Creativeapproach to critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Preferred Requirements :

  • Experiencein multinational companies.
  • Experienceworking with different cultures and geos.
