The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse related activities including receiving raw materials and / or finished goods, storing, transfer material into the different focus factory or kitting room and shipping returning raw materials to vendors.
It is responsible for maintaining inventory and associated records as well as optimizing safety and quality in the warehouse.
People management responsibilities include training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, resolving problems and should be capable of generating processes and procedures.
General roles and responsibilities :
Supervise and assist in daily warehouse, receiving, kitting, shipping and return to vendor activities.
Satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation.
Receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel.
Filling and delivering work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods.
Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged, coordinating internal inventory audits.
Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of the department activities.
Developing and maintaining work instructions for all department’s tasks, assign workload to all the personnel in a daily basis, establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.
Secure, at all time, the compliance of Quality and EH&S practices and aspects.
Enforcing and interpreting company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Plan operational activities and recommend measures to increase efficiency and improve the service to both internal and external customers.
Conferring with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments and serving internal customers.
Requirements for application :
Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering or related.
Three to five years’ experience in Warehouse processes and practices.
Two years minimum experience in personnel management tasks and roles.
Three years minimum experience in manufacturing / trade environment; medical device industry experience is desirable.
Two years minimum experience or exposure to foreign commerce processes.
Robust leadership and staff management skills.
Capable of working in a multifunctional team environment.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Strong orientation towards Customer Service.
Fluent written and oral English.
