The Project Accounting Analyst plays a key regional role in achieving the overall business objectives by providing timely, meaningful and accurate analysis of regional balance sheet accounts and positive liaison with accounting leads across the region.
The Project Accounting Analyst mainly interacts with countries’ project management leads and other departments such as project administration, accounts receivables, accounts payable, order management etc and is responsible with their help, for fostering a teamwork approach to the many challenges facing our business.
As with all positions in the company, a positive and proactive approach is essential to success.
Preparation of project accounting results, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals & Controls related to the projects management.
Manual journal entries, follow up and analysis.
Participation in month end close.
Providing alternative ideas and actions to improve the everyday procedures of the administrative and financial department, identification of weaknesses of control and compliance.
Identifies areas of improvement and drives standardization.
Additional ad-hoc functions and analysis as directed by the Accounting Head on site.
3 to 4 years’ experience in Accounting / Record-to-Report / Big 4.
Graduate or Studying Accounting
Good written and oral English and Portuguese will be considered a plus.
Proficient Microsoft Office Package
Oracle knowledge Preferred
Demonstrated track record of high achievement in professional and / or academic setting.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Relates well to others, with the ability to manage diverse relationships.
Be open and receptive, as well as demonstrate flexibility.
Show strong proficiency in solving problems analytically.
Show strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Patience, perseverance and able to spend extra time at closing week.
