Responsible for the supervision and development of their respective plating crew. Responsible to oversee and provide direction to assure that all plating processes are ran according to departmental procedures to obtain the highest efficiency, lowest scrap, best precious metals use, and highest on-
time delivery possible. Understands and administers company policies at all times.
Responsible for the quality, efficiency, scrap, precious metal usage and On-Time Delivery for the respective crew.
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement them through an implementation plan.
Responsible for daily line checks, precious metals checks, and process audits to assure that processes are running according to documented processes and are meeting standards.
Responsible for continuous one-on-one associate technical and professional development based on daily operational results and behavior.
Monitor and reduce strip line downtime, scrap, efficiencies, and returns on both the barrel and strip lines.
Help monitor the wastewater systems, and alert the support staff of any abnormal problems.
Responsible for overall shop floor safety, appearance and organization.
Could potentially involve handling hazardous materials.
Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions.
University Bachelor Degree (required) in Chemichal, Electrical, Industrial Engineering area or related science field.
