Intercompany Purchasing Analyst is responsible forprocessing the customer’s order to the Emerson factories and follow up untilorder is delivered to Emerson’s Warehouse.
Key component in the process ofdelivering the goods to the customer on time.
Also updates the information in the systems so thatthe Customer service team and the internal customers (sales, business leaders,managers, etc) are able to view the status of the order.
Responsibilities Createpurchase order to supplier in Emerson’s business system and ensure all thecustomer’s requirements are completed.
Performconstant follow up of purchases and keep internal customers informed. Maintainaccurate records of all activities related to orders from creation of thePurchase Order to shipment of the products and documentation requested.
Understandand implement all aspects of the organization’s document retention procedures. Understandbasics of Emerson’s products, model numbers and price list.
Asrequired, coordinate with the Inside Sales Engineer, Proposal Engineer, OrderManagement or other technical subject matter experts to have them review andvalidate the technical requirements of the customer’s purchase order.
Work to achieve target Cycle time for process.Understandand consistently apply commercial policies and business practices related toquote and order entry process.
Ensurecompliance with import / export, contract and government requirements. Screenorders and quotes for compliance with the business unit Terms and Conditions,Agreements and standards,Performother duties as required.
Requirements High School diploma is required.
