Position summary :

The Business Analyst is responsible for the following tasks : identify among existing Finance processes (initially in Shared Service and later in other finance functions) opportunities for process automations.

Be able to prioritize according to pre-defined criteria and lead discussion with developers or other internal resources to produce and implement the automation.

Help develop, maintain and evolve the criteria for automation prioritization. Support automation implementation utilizing project management methodologies and report evolution to management accordingly.

Support fix of automation when needed. Explain and educate the organization on automation opportunities, types of automations and help educate on how to find opportunities for automation and prioritization.

Troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as working closely with managers and software developers to solve these problems, will also be needed.

The Business Analyst must have good communication and organization skills, along with a working knowledge of day to day operations and priorities within their department and the company.

Assume other duties as assigned.

Be able to understand process controls and properly design the automation to maintain or improve controls. Ensure Internal Audit will be able to assess and test controls after automation.

Essential duties & responsibilities :

  • Lead assessments with a business process owner and / or subject matter expert (SME) to document potential business value, automation fit and complexity, and business requirements to help build the demand pipeline for automation improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure fully and clearly documented business processes to the granular level of detail that is required for an automated solution.
  • Work closely with Developers so that they understand the process to and assist with the creation of their solution design, ensuring they deliver a solution that meets the business requirements.
  • Support, assess and validate the automated activities with a business process owner and / or subject matter expert (SME) during any verification and user acceptance testing as this will determine if a solution has fulfilled the requirements.
  • Perform analysis of key metrics for automation to determine potential benefits
  • Acting as a central point of knowledge and control for business processes, communicating with the developers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and / or business process owners to answer any queries that arise during the development and testing of an automated solution.
  • Engage with the relevant senior level of authority within the operations team to capture and ensure sign off is provided of the process requirements.
  • Manage the detailed tasks required to deliver high quality automated solutions in accordance with the

    agreed delivery methodology to achieve a consistent high standard of solution to Business

    Requirements

  • Ensuring the business needs are understood and delivered against in each step of the delivery cycle to
  • ensure the solution meets the Business Customers need

  • Remove blockers to delivery and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Education & special trainings :

  • Proven experience as Automation Business Analyst designing automations in RPA, VBA and ERPs
  • Undergraduate degree required. (Industrial Engineer, Computer Science, MIS or related degree.).
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Project Management Certification or proven knowledge (Microsoft Project) and Agile.
  • Yellow / Green Belt certified nice to have
  • Qualifications & experience :

  • At least 3 years professional experience.
  • Working experience with different BPMs tools.
  • Capable of data analysis, knowledgeable on basic statistics concepts
  • Ability to analyze and document process and data flow.
  • Physical & mental requirements :

  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, multi-task and meet deadlines consistently
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to
  • communicate complicated issues effectively

  • Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to
  • adapt to a quickly changing environment

  • Effective problem-solving skills
