As a key player within the Colleague Experience and Technology (CET) organization you will join the Colleague Success team responsible for organizational change management and supporting VMware colleagues through upcoming changes aligned to the CDTO (Digital Transformation Office) and CIO (Information Office).
Your execution will contribute to the success of our employees’ journey through the CDTO and CIO transformational agenda.
The Colleague Experience and Technology organization is a critical part of VMware’s digital transformation functionally comprising of colleague support and success, colleague experience and a technology team focused on collaboration, productivity, and emerging technologies.
What is primary need, technical challenge, and / or problem you will be responsible for?
We are looking for an agile, self-starter, dynamic individual that will execute on our people-oriented change management strategies to help our colleagues navigate through massive technological and operational changes.
You will be part of a global multicultural and diverse team working on different programs and initiatives aligned to company’s strategic priorities (in a project-management driven organization).
You will join the team in Costa Rica as a Colleague Success Senior Change Specialist.
Success in the Role : What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
The primary focus is aimed at understanding the vision and strategy to help our colleagues navigate through change while embracing a culture of open to continuous change and evolution in an agile fast-paced environment.
Contributing to and embracing a colleague centric approach in everything you do will be crucial.
As a Colleague Success Senior Change Specialist you will be expected to support diverse internal audiences to adapt and be part of the change, through the execution of comprehensive change management strategies, strictly focused on the people-side of the
transformation. In addition to communications and training, you will work with the respective Change Lead’ (Colleague Success Manager and above), to determine the best change management approach to overcome transformation.
Cross functional teamwork with project teams, including Program Managers (PMO), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), User Acceptance Testing Leads (UAT), Global Process Owners (GPOs), IT Product Owners and Product Managers across the globe is also expected.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Contribute to the development of a communications framework, strategy, and approval process for communicating with all internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, executive staff, senior management, project teams, business unit partners, engineering teams and colleagues
Execute communications strategy for key stakeholders
Draft written communications for project stakeholders, end users, and any other key impacted audiences.
Contribute to the development of a role-based enablement plan for training appropiate internal stakeholders including, but not limited to, business operations’ (quote to cash) and colleagues, excluding Field Sales and Partners.
Execute training strategy for key stakeholders
Interviewing appropriate project members to determine process inputs for training materials.
Create, and maintain training documents - including cheat sheets, FAQ, training decks, etc. to engineer the people-side of change processes
Participate in change management impact assessments
Build strong relationships with business global counterparts to drive colleague adoption
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
You will be reporting to Priscilla Hernandez, Colleague Success Senior Manager, leading the team in Costa Rica.
This role is flexible and can be done from home, in an office, or a combination of the two anywhere in Costa Rica.
Eventually, post-pandemic they will have the opportunity to work onsite 1-2 days per week
