Supplier Enablement SIM / BPEP System Administrator

Reports to Sr. Director Global Supplier Management

As the Supplier Onboarding Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible the routine daily administration and follow-up associated with the Supplier Onboarding and Vendor Master Program for Thomson Reuters Globally.

May also be required to manage and troubleshoot and escalate issues / problems that may occur from time to time with processes and procedures.

The position requires someone who is able to work independently, is a self-starter, able to respond in a timely manner in this fast-

paced environment. The ideal individual must have the ability to multi-task while maintaining full attention to details and priorities.

They should have experience leading, directing and supporting teams of up to 6 people.

Position Responsibilities / Accountabilities :

  • Attend and support routine and special daily and weekly meetings related to or affecting Supplier Onboarding
  • Manage Supplier Onboarding communications such as the mailbox and ServiceNow Tickets while ensuring enquiries etc. related to Supplier Onboarding are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all issues all closed out with the stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Process and respond to requests related to both new suppliers and Updates etc.
  • Troubleshoot any stalled requests.
  • Review Supplier Onboarding trends, opportunities and issues and suggest and drive process improvements and enhancements.
  • Follow up with the team on outstanding requests to determine the status.
  • Ensure any tracking sheets, status reports etc. are updated as necessary.
  • Provide support to and act as the liaison with other Vendor Master Teams in support of the Supplier Onboarding and Vendor Master Data processes.
  • Provide support to the Supplier Onboarding process in partnership with Enterprise Compliance.
  • Provide support to Stakeholders, Accounts Payable and Sourcing with respect to Supplier Onboarding concerns, issues and opportunities.
  • Organize meetings and calls with suppliers and internal stakeholders to discuss and resolve opportunities and issues.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities outlined above.
  • Provide administrative support such as preparation of status reports and deal with ad-hoc requests for reporting.
  • Experience / Education :

    Candidate will preferably hold at least a High School Diploma. Candidate should ideally have 2-4 years of professional experience in Purchasing and similar experience with SAP and Ariba.

    Candidate should have supervised small teams of people.

    Skills :

  • MS Excel intermediate skills required (including charts, functions, pivot tables, VLookup)
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy while managing large amounts of data
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in professional manner
  • General understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Must be able to effectively problem solve and coordinate small projects and see issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload
  • Ability to supervise, motivate and direct small teams
