Position Purpose

Responsible for pallet commercial strategies and negotiations, performance & evolution in Central American Region. To guarantee not only execution but Regional Development through negotiations with new accounts, both produce and domestic segment, and existing Customers to ensure KPIs, and expected organization revenue.

Major / Key Accountabilities

  • Customer visits on a regular basis to ensure and guarantee expected performance
  • Negotiations with regional accounts to deliver the expected growth and expand current market coverage.
  • Develop commercial strategies in accordance to the market s needs and current status.
  • Analyze both customer and region performance to deliver growth, revenue and volume goals.
  • Report weekly performance.
  • Finance follow up support to achieve cash flow goals.
  • Reinforce customer service level by providing CHEP operation information and training to ensure customer understands the operation.
  • Asset management follow up support on daily delivers, at least the first year of customer s operation.
  • Create CHEP participation codes in Siebel, together with Master Data LATAM, ensuring the account provides complete documentation needed.
  • Contract signature follow up in new accounts together with CHEP s Legal Department to ensure no significant or legally risky changes are made to the terms and conditions.
  • Hold responsibility for the effective ok-boarding of new clients.
  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
  • Develop business plans for all current and opportunity businesses.
  • Map new opportunities in the region to approach.
  • Make a detailed mapping of new customer s operation in order to cover all risks the operation might have.
  • Make ROCI to guarantee the expected revenue and return of investment time.
  • Make trimestral sales forecast in line with the organization plan
  • Authority / Decision Making

  • Rate negotiations that do not exceed the standards given by the organization.
  • Travel agenda coordination with customers
  • Customer problems or decision and follow up
  • Working autonomously or having limited access to immediate manager
  • Working in a matrix environment (Finance & Sales)

  • Education : University degree in Business or related field
  • Experience : 2 years in Sales or Customer service area
  • English (Desired)
