Leads Supply Chain at Costa Rica site. Manages purchasing, warehouses (Raw Materials, Finished Goods & 3PL), logistics and production planning locally in Costa Rica.
Single point of contact in Costa Rica leadership team for all supply chain initiatives. Develops improvements strategies for processes / best practices and leadership.
Reports to global supply chain leader at the Corporate office and coordinates activities with global / corporate teams. Job duties :
Responsible for site specific planning and production scheduling. Efficient inventory monitoring of both Finished Goods and Raw Materials for Costa Rica site.
Accountable for purchased Raw Material inventory levels for internal & external suppliers.
Responsible for both Raw Material and Finished Goods Warehouses, logistics and freight services and outsourced 3PL services.
Provides leadership and prioritization to direct reports and business leaders, ensuring team maintains corporate goals.
Develops, monitors and manages raw material and finished goods inventory levels utilizing cycle count and physical inventory practices.
Responsible for monthly audits of local purchase orders and cycle counts effectiveness.
Proactively identifies and resolves capacity constraints as needed for assigned manufacturing locations and proactively highlights and communicates potential product supply risks.
Escalates risk areas to Sr. Management and global supply chain teams.
Proactively identifies opportunities to eliminate production down-times due to materials shortages, achieve customers on time shipments deliveries.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent.
Background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as, but not limited to; planning, purchasing, warehouse and logistics.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in supply chain, customer service, operations and or manufacturing.
Minimum of five (5) years in leadership and management role.
Master’s preferred. APICS certification preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners / customers.
Proven results with building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Is able to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
