BCG is in a period of rapid development and transformation. Due to our continued growth, we are building

our Meetings & Events (M&E) team focused on creating safe and inspiring environments that bring people together to enable meaningful connections and create global impact.

The meetings team partners closely with senior leaders, functional and regional event teams, and individual meeting planners across the company to enhance the overall event experience while creating efficiencies and lowering risk for all meeting formats (in-person, virtual, & hybrid).

The Supplier Management team is responsible for building & managing a global network of preferred suppliers to support BCG meetings & events.

This role is responsible for managing the on-boarding process for the different supplier categories, ensuring process is followed, training is provided, and key metrics are established to measure performance and output.

As a member of the M&E team, you will be expected to gain a deep understanding of all service offerings and to build lasting relationships with internal stakeholders to promote adoption of those services and suppliers across BCG.

The M&E team is encouraged to approach work with an entrepreneurial, strategic, and customer-centric mindset, always questioning the status quo and proactively seeking opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Key activities and responsibilities include :

  • Providing routine and ad-hoc administrative support for the M&E Supplier Management Team primarily, and occasionally to other M&E business units
  • Develop processes and systems to ensure Procurement best practices are followed for collecting insurance certificates, contracts, data privacy agreements and other required documents for each supplier.
  • Develop and implement consistent on-boarding process for suppliers across the different service offerings
  • Establish strong ties across the M&E team to support peak periods as backup
  • Actively promote the use of M&E products and services to internal stakeholders along with developing training materials for all supplier categories and keeping them at up-to-date standard
  • Assisting with creation and maintenance of internal and customer facing materials, and conducting routine audits to ensure relevance
  • Managing access and permissions for M&E tools and platforms for new joiners and departures
  • Actively gaining education and experience across the events industry

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business / Business Administration, Hospitality, Procurement or related field
  • Experience in a hospitality, professional services, or customer service organization strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); strong command of the English language required
  • Experience working across cultural boundaries in a complex, matrix structured organization preferred
  • Previous exposure working in a global / virtual team preferred

    The Meetings & Events team (M&E) is part of BCG’s Operations Services function, which is also comprised of Travel, Safety & Security, Sustainability, and Real Estate.

    You can also expect to work closely with colleagues across IT, Legal, Finance and other BCG support functions as well as a global network of approved external suppliers.

    The M&E team supports internal and external-facing events across all BCG functions and regions.
