PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Process time and materials billings via the Paperless Proforma process.
Generate invoices for contract milestones.
Perform matter administration functions.
Provide billing support, including ledger reconciliation.
Answer telephone inquiries from the customer base.
Work with various departments including Sales, Client Services, Contract Administration and Collections to ensure resolution of client inquiries.
Perform all activities at performance levels determined acceptable by the department’s management team.
Participate in ad hoc projects in support of the Finance organization’s objectives.
5 years of work experience with a minimum of two years of customer service and / or billing experience preferred. A college education is preferred and will be substituted for experience as appropriate.
Previous demonstrated experience with client accounts reconciliation and resolution of billing issues.
Experience with Window-based applications required including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Elite, a Thomson Reuters business billing software is highly desired.
Excellent verbal skills with polished telephone presence. Demonstrated knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
Professional attitude and strong service orientation. Ability to deal with a professional client base. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle / diffuse difficult situations and resolve issues a must
Strong written communication skills. Ability to compose a professional business letter and ensure that it is grammatically correct and the content is appropriate.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
