    NXPs’ Wireless Connectivity team currently have the following job opening :

    As a member of the wireless system engineering team, the candidate will participate in the research and development of next generation WLAN SoCs.

    The candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

  • Design and development of advanced PHY algorithms for MIMO OFDM systems.
  • Validate and bring-up PHY signal processing modules.
  • Work closely with hardware and software teams to optimize the OTA performance of WiFi SoC.
  • Analyze system performance using sniffer captures and simulation tools (C++ / MATLAB)
  • Required Qualifications :

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field or MS in EE or a related field + 3 years of industry experience
  • Must understand the fundamentals of signal processing and digital communications
  • Must be familiar with MIMO and OFDM technologies
  • Must be fluent in C / C++, MATLAB
  • Desirable to have hands-on experience on wireless system level performance tunings and debugs.
  • Desirable to have scripting and automation skills
  • Desirable to be familiar with IEEE WLAN .11 standards
