Job Description Summary :
The QA Lead will be responsible for the design and execution of test plans and test cases that ensure the quality of new system functionality and workflows.
The QA Lead is responsible for the leadership and development of a team of QA Analysts, providing training and guidance for those seeking to develop and improve their QA skills.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead QA efforts on projects and provide instruction and direction for more junior staff
Provide a point of contact on the QA team for other functional areas of the office
Production, Development, etc.).
Test software across platforms (Web, Mobile, Tablet)
Test websites, apps, banner and email campaigns
Test and validate data for front-end and back-end
Analyze and identify software defects
Write clear and concise defects
Track and monitor defects throughout development cycle
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and requirement documents
Work closely with Engineers and Project Managers
Encourage and maintain standards and process for workflow efficiency
Support application deployments
SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED IN A VARIETY OF AREAS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO :
Product and project quality, timelines, budget compliance, and degree of customer
Processes and policies being followed properly along the different projects.
Consistently operating within HPS’ values and cultural style
Successfully executing the roles and responsibilities of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 4-5 years in a digital environment
Able to learn and contribute ideas involving new testing tools and methodologies
Strong attention to detail
Analytical and capable of solving complex problems
Understanding of the software development life cycle
An ability to own and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to adjust and re-prioritize projects and goals as needed
Effectively communicates with their team both written and orally
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Skilled at providing feedback during all stages of a project (Ex : Recognizing design or
usability issues during the design phase and not after development)
Computer Science background preferred, but not required
Can think independently and take ownership of a project
Must be familiar with defect tracking tools such as JIRA,Fogbugs, Bugzilla, etc.
Candidates must have experience in a digital agency, online marketing, or other digital
mediaorganization to be considered for the position.
Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred. Applicant must be logical and methodical and
beable to articulate QA testing plans to all members of their project teams.
