About the role

As Senior Analyst, IT services, you work on several IT solutions within Business Intelligence, ERP Services, Commercial.

You are a key contributor to a project affecting your solutions and usually you own a large part of the project scope. You are responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into detailed function specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications.

You assist the business in determining how business requirements are integrated into the other processes. You ensure documentation is up to date.

You are in touch with the markets usually working closely with the super-users of your application / solution and you work with our external delivery partners to develop or support our solutions.

This role brings a strong knowledge of current technology and IT capabilities (SAP, BI solution, commercial systems depending on which area you focus on), expertise in multiple business areas as well.

In this role you may support project definition, initial cost assessment of projects and integration of various project suppliers and vendors.

Depending on your availability and capacity, you may also evolve by running the network of key users / super-users in the regions / markets and / or the level 3 support management.

At this position, you will typically report to a (Associate) Manager, IT Programs or IT Services.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Requirements gathering and functional specifications development
  • Perform system Administrator functions such as updating dimensions and loading data.
  • Perform troubleshooting of user issues / complaints.
  • Develop and review design specifications for solutions / applications (ERP services, BI,..) to support the business processes (implementation and / or change)
  • Assist in developing solution / application architecture
  • Review technical specifications
  • Assist with the creation and execution test plans to ensure that the functional and business requirements are met by the provided solution
  • Create and maintain documentation for configuration throughout the system development lifecycle
  • Train super users / end-users on established programs
  • Ensure assigned project deliverables stay within stated timelines, scope, and costs
  • Provide management with accurate and timely status reports of all projects / scope as assigned
  • Work effectively and productively with technical and functional resources
  • Guides continuous improvement efforts for the solution, develop business cases, understand your users
  • Business and IT organization engagement

  • Develop your network, internally and externally and leverage it
  • Create strong and trusting relationship with your key business partners, super-users and IT colleagues
  • Communication with :

  • Both Internal and External Parties (mostly internal)
  • Level of Communication : Adapt and Exchange (reach agreement) Innovation : Identify, develop, and make improvements to new ideas, techniques, procedures, services, or products :

    Critical experiences for success

    To be successful in this role you will have / be :

  • Working understanding of Financial Planning and Reporting
  • Experience in creating, modifying specifications and configurations to meet specified requirements
  • Experience developing and executing integrated test plans
  • Experience working effectively in a cross functional team
  • Possess data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in English language skills
  • Experience with MS Excel (intermediate)
  • The following experiences are recommended :

  • Experience with IBM Cognos TM1, Planning Analytics and Controller
  • Experience with SAP BW
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience communicating technical solutions to the business
  • Experience / exposure to different markets dynamics / specificities / cultures
  • Fluent in another language
