As Disease Areas Strategy Director for Central America & The Caribbean you will ensure that the Disease Area Squads achieve the best possible outcomes (MTP - Massive Transformative Purpose) in their area by fostering an environment of collaboration, co-creation and agile ways of working.
Under the DASD responsibility will also be the Business Excellence Office, which provides support for planning and implementing Diseases Areas strategies.
You are expected to have a strong sense of servant leadership and creative competencies. As a member of the leadership team, you will help to drive the company's strategic agenda and the organization evolution.
Your main responsibilities will be to :
Lead the Disease Area Squads and Business Excellence Office for Roche Central America and the Caribbean to achieve the goals and strategic vision for the region.
Make sure the Squads co-create one integrated strategy for the disease area comprised of commercial, medical and access inputs.
Enable Squads collaboration and alignment with the BEO and other support functions.
Ensure cross pollination within disease areas to maximize synergies, foster best practice sharing and talent development.
Guarantee the early integration of new molecules within the Disease Area strategy in alignment with the Pipeline & Portfolio lead to ensure the affiliate long term goals.
Ensure an integrated Patient strategy across disease areas.
Ensure articulation, alignment and collaboration of the disease areas to achieve the organizational goals.
Foster customer engagement and centricity culture across Central America & The Caribbean.
Embed precision medicine strategy as a pillar of the disease area teams.
Represent Roche and act as a speaker on strategic and disease area topics with external stakeholders.
Ensure Squads engagement and collaboration with I7 Communities, NEO representatives and global functions.
Develop the Disease Area Squads in alignment with the affiliate and corporate needs, including agile ways of working.
Develop the Squad members with a Commercial profile and the BEO Lead.
Co-lead the implementation of the strategic agenda together with the other members of the leadership team.
Co-lead the shaping of an organisational culture based on collaboration, feedback and trust.
Also meet the following requirements :
At least 4 years of relevant experience in a senior leadership position in Commercial areas.
Overarching knowledge and experience in commercial, medical and market access in multicultural environments.
University degree either in Commercial or Medical areas.
Solid understanding of business processes and global perspective.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and relevant experience working with agile teams.
Spanish and English language proficiency.
Growth mindset and a strong sense of servant leadership.
