In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

Drive change within Philips global manufacturing towards a data driven, agile, self-organizing and self-optimizing future factory

You will be responsible for identification, definition and realization of projects in data connectivity, data visualization, data modelling, robotic process automation and machine learning.

You will drive strong alignment with stakeholders such as the global ME team, Factory representatives, and central functions to ensure we do leapfrog towards latest innovations on AI, ML.

You are responsible for

  • Road mapping global manufacturing initiatives in your area of responsibility ensuring realization of solutions as well as deployment of capabilities in our global footprint
  • Running local pilots and global projects driving capabilities within the Philips factory of the future while meeting individual project goals.
  • Cocreation on IIOT architecture and specific solutions within enabling us to get access to data on equipment level
  • Driving data collection across the ecosystem to enable process performance optimization due to data transparency visualization and analytics
  • Strong cooperation with the E2E digitalization initiatives within Philips to ensure we are driving excellence within a network of functions serving our customers along the complete value stream
  • Identify and leverage best in class technology and processes within industry

    The Global Manufacturing Engineering technology team Industry 4.0 and networking within the technology clusters of GME as well as the data analytic team in OPEX and ST&P.

    As a global Expert on ML you will be functional leader of highly motivated engineers within factories and global functions

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Graduate / post graduate Engineer with >
  • 5 years of experience working in manufacturing environment .

  • Important technical know how
  • Manufacturing Fundamentals
  • Proven track records on AI solution development (AI,ML,NPL)
  • Proven track record on program / project management
  • Production System Architecture
  • Value Chain Analysis
  • Data Analytics and visualization (eg QLIK, Power BI, Minitab etc)
  • Design for Six Sigma
  • Digital Factory
  • Product Innovation & Lifecycle Management Fundamentals
  • Technology Scouting
  • Problem Solving Techniques
  • Important business know how
  • Manufacturing processes and equipment (Principal)
  • Product-, Process-, and Equipment Architecture
