    Our company Business Service Centre located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes.

    BSC KL located in Malaysia will be responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across our company business divisions and markets for the AP region.

    Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • The global lead and the focal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders of the global card administration team
  • Demonstrate full operational responsibility for Card Administration activities to ensure all deliverables are successfully achieved including :
  • operational performance & excellence
  • people management and development
  • adherence to compliance requirements
  • support and implement continuous improvements (regional / global projects)
  • stakeholder engagement & management
  • Manage escalations by Senior Management team as required on all Card Administration activities
  • Assist in internal / external audits to ensure all appropriate controls are being followed & management action plans are implemented timely in resolving gaps (when required).
  • Talent management, succession and retention
  • Establish robust back-up globally to service clients virtually.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of any Card Administration related processes and technologies
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPO) in delivering optimization and where applicable, automation or digitization
  • Deliver efficiency & effectiveness for the Card Administration processes through standardization, simplifications, and streamlining.
  • Active participation in global initiatives & provide leadership & directions for Card Administration team members in executing the projects or improvement actions.
  • Manage the business relationship with the Travel, Meetings & Card (TM&C) Card Strategy team.
  • Develop a good understanding of the overall Finance organization and broader business; build and develop network and partnerships with key Finance and business leaders across the company for improve Delivery, Client Management and Change Management across functions, when require.
  • Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of the company’s financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls in each process.
  • Any other duties that are within the scope, spirit or purpose of the role or as reasonably requested
  • Qualifications :

  • Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain related field or Computer Science or Economy, Accounting or full professional qualification (e.
  • g. ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, CPA, ICAEW) is required

  • Possess related experience. Minimum of 5 to 8 years of leading teams in Card Administration experience or Customer Service experience in the region.
  • Global experience is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, with leadership experience leading a regional team of professionals and able to lead virtual teams in other time zone and other countries.
  • Finance & Accounting certification by an accredited organization is preferred
  • Solid financial background with experience in accounting processes
  • Strong business-level English. Possessing other languages are added advantage such as Mandarin, Spanish or Japanese.
  • Interpersonal & strong communication skills; people management and organization skills are required. Able to lead with empathy and diversity in mind (cultural differences)
  • Problem solving & strong stakeholder management skills are a must.
  • Possess Lean Sigma (Green or Black) and / or Project Management Skill (PMP certified or possess Project Management experience)
  • Experienced in a global environment setup
