Based in San Jose, you will drive the strategy and execution for services that enable our customers to store their most valued digital assets in the cloud.
You will be the voice of internal and external customers to the engineering team that develops and operates the cloud services infrastructure.
This unique role requires candidates that understand storage & content models through infrastructure, platform and application-level perspectives.
You'll play a key role in improving the lives of millions of creatives and the industry through all Adobe products used around the world.
What you'll do
Deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize our developer and partner community needs and create compelling business cases for product development with a focus on extensibility
Define platform product requirements and user stories as part of a prioritized backlog of features.
Take a holistic view of what it takes to deliver delightful customer experiences, including design, quality, performance and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering, product managers, architects, and other technical leaders on the execution and delivery of your roadmap
Develop release communication plans, identify early adaptors, drive pilots to ensure rapid adoption of new platform offerings.
Work cross functionally with Adobe product teams such as Photoshop, Acrobat, and with other platform teams within the CTO’s organization, to build and execute on a roadmap that meet the needs of all constituents
Drive cost optimization projects, including technical tuning projects, tailoring customer-facing offers and negotiating with external vendors
Own key metric to monitor the business objectives, including storage quotas, costs, and growth.
Needed for success
5-7+ years of full-time work experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects
Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners
Proven ability to independently drive initiatives end-to-end
Articulate and persuasive while able to listen and incorporate the perspectives of others
BA / BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or equivalent
MBA or Masters degree strongly desired
Experience in product management or software development with a passion for developer platforms & ecosystems.
An orientation for execution with a strong process and metrics focus
Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills as you'll be interacting across product and engineering leaders at various levels
