The CBS MDMPortfolio Management Lead is responsible for successfully bringing projectsfrom concept to completion including the effective transition of master dataactivities out of business units during migrations, effective deploymentsexecution and effective implementation of other projects involving MDM servicecatalog.
In all cases, working to integrate the global portfolio of MDMprojects seeking to reduce or eliminate negative impact to the customer andreduce performance dips following go live / transition to steady stateoperations.
Thisposition is accountable for the integration and the execution of allproject-related work involving the Master Data Maintenance function andresponsible to handing over activities to the regional Operations teams.
Itincludes oversight of the alignment of timelines, process mapping, solutiondesign and construction, testing, training, implementation, stabilization, andproject closing, of all initiatives within the Function s portfolio.
This roleis also responsible for maintaining process integrity and standardizationwithin the region as per Global accepted standards and service taxonomy.
Thisposition requires an experienced leader who can partner effectively with alllevels of the organization, influence others, drive results, proactivelyidentify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.
It also requires proficient knowledge inmaster data objects and portfolio management to be utilized to work closelywith partners, including but not limited to business unit and function customers,representatives, and third-
party providers. Gain solid understanding of themaster data processes taking place in the business units. Develop accurate steady state estimates, working with both the business unit and operationalteams to create frameworks accordingly.
Drive the implementation of additionalautomation, if needed. Identify gaps and propose improvements. Ensure that thebusiness unit staff are prepared through training, etc.
to reduce andeliminate issues after going live.
Provide leadership for MDM processactivities across implementations and migrations
Provides coaching and / or trainingto more senior members of the team, including coaching Cargill core values.
May participate in selection ofemployees and provide input on plans for future workforce needs.
Provides guidance and leadership toRegional Project Integration Leads and Sr. Project Specialist and acts as anescalation point for MDM functional process and procedures related to projectframeworks.
Build functional knowledge, asneeded, within MDM
Defines program objectives andscope utilizing expert knowledge of project management practices andprocedures.
Accountable for development of theIntegrated Project Plan for each project within the program.
Participate actively in Go Live andPost Go Live by providing functional / technical expertise as well as issueidentification, escalation, and resolution.
Participate in localized processdevelopment, communication, training (development of training, localization oftraining & training delivery) and implementation for process designs withinarea of scope.
Execute in BU / Function trainingaround MDM processes
This role is responsible fordesigning, building and aligning the framework of processes with the BU’s andfunctions which includes metrics, measures, roles & responsibilities,technology, participants, etc.
Ensure consistency of approachacross multiple deployments.
Escalate risks and issues asappropriate.
Review and provide feedback andguidance on the project scope and objectives.
Translates and analyzes variancesfrom the project plan, researches alternatives, and implements thepreferred / approved recommendations
Identifies, reviews, and plansportfolio demand needs for data and business analytics initiatives and ensuresthat resource capacity is allocated according to portfolio demands
Partners with thetraining / education of data management and master data maintenance process andsolution users as needed.
Participates in data management& business intelligence solution development, communication, training andimplementations
Provides technical expertise to thework plan, schedule, budget and required personnel for complex solutiondeployments.
Enable integration of complexsub-process areas, including data, change management / education, and security,by collaborating across teams and solving problems before they arise inproduction
Consult on volume projections andutilize experience to influence accuracy of estimates
Defines project objectives andscope for workstream activities in the data management and businessintelligence area to ensure that project objectives are delivered on time, onbudget and within scope
Bring stakeholders along on thechange journey at the appropriate pace to ensure successful execution of theplan
Engage with customers and otherstakeholder groups, as necessary, to foster productive relationships and moveforward through the change journey
Serve as Data Process and Projectliaison to the Businesses, MDM and other Functions
Address questions about charges formaster data management
Provide consulting and training tocustomers, stakeholders and partners to increase the value of our services tothem
Bachelor’s Degree ( 10 years) in ITor Finance
10 years of IT, Finance andbusiness / industry work experience
6 + years Project Managementexperience
Experience in Service introduction
Experience with business processand information technology project integration
Large project deployment experience
Experience in SAP Data Deployment
Experience in transitions of workto third parties and / or shared services
Extreme attention to detail
