Accounting Assistant (6 Month Contract)

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for the processing of supplier invoices and CEO expenses. This role will act as the liaison between the suppliers and Base Camp regarding accounts payable and CEO.
Verify charges on the supplier invoice to ensure invoice is correct.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
Review and approve CEO (Chief Experience Officer) expenses to ensure proper cash flow.
Review and lock trips for CEO payroll.
Research variances on invoices and CEO expenses when necessary.
Assist Finance Manager with the up keep and ensuring office supplies and maintenance is done in a timely manner.
Review and submission of expense reports for staff.
Other tasks as needed.
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or other accounting role.
Advanced knowledge of English both written and oral.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Detail and customer service oriented, with strong communication skills.
Legally able to work in Costa Rica.
