ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Brand Director, Ultras Mobile Silver to join the Marketing Team in Costa Mesa, CA! Individual reports to Ultra Mobile Brand Director .

Role is hybrid, work from home, and in-office.

Must be able to commute to Costa Mesa, CA HQ office as needed.


Your usual day of awesomeness includes :

  • Drives the brand strategy and marketing calendar to support growth and revenue goals for the new business line.
  • Develops and executes integrated go-to-market plans for acquisition and lifecycle management campaigns.
  • Identifies and leverages key consumer insights in collaboration with Research Team to drive marketing strategy and ensure development of communications that will resonate with purchase decision-maker and end consumer.
  • Leverages data, consumer insights, and competitive intel to develop strategic recommendations for new products and / or integrated marketing programs.
  • Tracks brand performance against KPIs, brand health metrics, and annual goals - while translating findings into actionable strategies.
  • Analyzes potential partnerships for brand fit and ensures brand goals are met through full execution of those partnership activities.
  • Continually shapes messaging for each stage of the consumer journey and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Intensely focuses on consumer lifecycle, removing pain points, and being transparent in communications.
  • Crafts insights-driven creative briefs that inspire breakthrough work and guides creative development to ensure focus.
  • Partners with the Performance Marketing team to develop media campaigns.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops the team, while defining the team's agenda and focus to align with company priorities and goals.
  • Builds strong relationships within the organization & with key cross-functional partners to ensure achievement of business objectives, marketing message consistency, and adherence to brand guardrails.

  • 10+ years experience in Marketing, Brand Management and / or Brand Strategy.
  • Knowledge of the aging adult consumer is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with Walmart is a plus.
  • High-level strategic thinking, strong attention to detail, project management, a keen sense of creativity, and a high degree of comfort working in a team environment.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams with thought-leadership in the following areas : brand building, consumer insights, media innovation, retailer-specific platforms, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with results-orientation and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and decision making / analytical skills; innovative and creative.
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment.
  • History of managing direct reports who succeeded under your guidance.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing vehicles and branding / marketing fundamentals.
