Job Description

Process LeadManages team, Ensure process compliance, Resolutions of escalations, Meet the team targets as conveyed by Managers from time to time and prepare deliverable plans of the projects & Ensure that work product meets quality parameters laid down for the respective projects.

Primary skills and responsibilities : Excellent domain knowledge on Contracts (Contract drafting, negotiating, redlining, abstraction, summarization)Experience working with IT contracts and knowledge of legal framework for IT & ITES, exposure to procurement contracts, subcontract, M&A would be an added advantage.

Review and interpret contract provisions critically; Possess a complete understanding of industry specific risks associated with clauses.

Sound knowledge of commercial contracting, other principles underlying the law of contracts across geographies and industries, global standards, and best practices.

  • Understanding of corporate legal requirements including but not limited to the Information security, compliance of IP, Data privacy, and others;
  • facilitate and conducts legal research, if neededShould have excellent written and oral English communication skillsExceptional communication (to both internal and external stakeholders), collaboration and stakeholder management skillsShould be proficient with Industry standard CLM platforms and Artificial intelligence / automation exposure (preferable), working knowledge of computer applications such as MS Office.

    Should be able to create standard operating procedures, workflows and training materialSecondary skills : Prepares process definitions & documentation for the specific processShould be able to work under defined KPIs / SLAs and other parameters and guidelinesExcellent interpretation, analytical skills, reasoning and logical abilityExcellent interpersonal and people management skillsShould be able to manage multiple tasks often with competing deadlinesPreliminary reporting and data analysisExcellent communication, conflict management and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to keep team motivated and work in a team with deadlines and contribute individuallyCosta Rica specific requirements : Exposure to large and complex deal structuresMultilingual support would be an added advantageUnderstanding of US and EU laws preferredSupport to US and Europe time zoneQualificationsBasic : Law graduate / post-graduate from a recognized University (LLB degree is a must)Minimum experience 5 years.

    Should have 1 to 3 years of experience of team management Note : Applicants for employment must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.

    The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

    COVID-19 Considerations : Masks are required to enter the office. Extra screening, sanitation and disinfecting procedures are in place.
