    Aboutthe Role :

    This opportunity willmake you a part of Boston Scientific internship program that offerson-the-job training or project performed by university seniorstudents at a company.

    The role will include activities, Supportproduction of existing chemical processes. Identify and implementprocess improvements.

    Identify and validate second sourcefor chemical raw materials, and support development of newproducts.

    The internship period will be for aperiod of up to 12 months and the student will receive a subsidyduring their period on thecompany.

    YourResponsibilitiesInclude :

  • Identify andimplement improvements to existing chemical manufacturing processesby incorporating lean principles, improving safety and yieldsthrough new equipment, equipment upgrades, training, workflowredesign and communication.
  • Responsibilities will includespecification and / or design of equipment, oversight of fabricationby outside vendors, safety and associated capital appropriationrequests.

  • Work closely with Manufacturing tosupport day to day operations by providing assistance withtroubleshooting, training anddocumentation.
  • Support development andvalidation of new or modified chemical processes. May includespecification and / or design of equipment, oversight of fabricationby outside vendors, raw material specification, and associatedcapital appropriation requests.
  • Preparetechnical reports, analysis, recommendations and presentationsreflecting the status and results of projects in progress on aregular basis.
  • Set up new equipment, ensuresatisfactory operation, safety requirements are met and instructothers to use the equipment properly.
  • Writeprocedures for the operation of new or existing equipment. May alsoinclude assisting Operations in the training of operators to newprocedures.
  • Supervise other engineers on theteam. Provide direction and leadership to enhance the projectdeliveries of the team.
  • WhatWe’re LookingFor :

  • At least 80% ofstudies completed in Bachelor Chemical Engineering, MaterialsEngineering or related Field.
  • English Levelrequired : B2 : 80%.
  • Desirableknowledge in : Use of SEM, micro hardness tester and metallographicmicroscope, ability to read an interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals.
  • Avaible for a temporary position (12months).
