The Opportunity

Adobe generated $13B revenue in FY 2020 and has completed $8B+ in strategic acquisitions since 2018. Our Corporate Development team strategically sources, evaluates, and executes Adobe’s inorganic growth roadmap, including M&A and investments.

We are looking for grounded, intelligent, and fun teammates to drive Adobe shareholder value through exceptional, dynamic opportunities from sourcing, to diligence, to deal execution and integration planning.

This individual will work with executives on strategic issues across product, product marketing, sales & sales operations, marketing, IT, finance, legal, and HR.

Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

What you'll Do

  • Partner with key internal leaders to develop strategic investment themes and assess potential acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Identify product gaps, evaluate build / partner / buy, and collaborate on target selection.
  • Conduct holistic, rigorous analyses to influence decision-making, including industry TAMS, competitive landscapes, customer overlaps, and valuation and business case modeling.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the M&A process (e.g., due diligence, data rooms, internal updates), support M&A integration workstreams, and handle the suite of corporate development systems & tools.
  • Establish a robust understanding of new markets, industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging companies.
  • Embrace assignments and projects across Corporate Development, M&A Integration and the Office of the CEO.
  • What you need to succeed

  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or other detailed discipline.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, organizational and project management skills
  • Maniacal attention to detail. Strong work ethic. Proactive self-starter. Calm under pressure. High EQ and business intuition.
  • Able to adapt to fast-moving, ambiguous environments. High learning agility. Consummate team player.

  • Excellent written communication skills, including presentation and memo formats. Strong spoken communication skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools, SharePoint, Capital IQ, and Smartsheet; Knowledge of Excel macros, SQL and Power BI, a plus.
  • Previous experience (1-4 years) in investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, private equity, or equally rigorous environment.
  • SaaS, consumer or B2B internet, or enterprise software experience, a plus.
