The pre-sales representative has one of the most importantroles in our company, acting as the first touch to our potentialcustomers.
Our program is committed totraining and developing with a solid foundation that will allow you to be successfulin future roles at Experian.
Working in a teamenvironment with sales and marketing, you are responsible for qualifyinginbound leads generated by our marketing campaigns.
You’ll be in integral partof helping the company build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities andgrow its revenue.
Major Job Functions
Reach out to our marketing leads / prospective clients byemail, social media or phone
Identify business opportunities and connect them withaccount executives
Identify client’s needs, understanding the valueproposition of Experian’s solutions.
Report on the success of campaigns and lead generationactivities
Accurately enter your activity in our CRM(Salesforce.com)
Participate in ongoing sales, business, and technicaltraining sessions to increase overall awareness of Experian’s solutions andgo-to-market strategies.
Drive- action oriented, goal oriented, tenacity andperseverance.
Effective communication Ability to effectivelycommunicate product benefits and competitive advantages to prospective clients.
Ability to tailor message to client needs and pain points.
Persuasion skills Ability to overcome objections andinfluence prospective clients to attend an appointment and evaluate Experianproduct and services.
Fast learner- Curiosity and ability to learn newinformation about solutions and sales processes
Highschool Diploma required
2+ years of previous customer facing and salesexperience
Excellent interpersonal and professional communicationskills, both verbal and written (English & Spanish)
Personable, outgoing and friendly with excellentlistening skills
Competitive nature and coachable
Ability to work in fast paced team environment
Experience in sales or marketing a plus.
Experience with CRM systems a plus, but not required,specifically Salesforce.com
Strong Microsoft Office skills a plus
Previous business development experience in a B2Bindustry is highly desirable but not required
