Key Duties and Responsibilities
Provide general and routine technical support to a broad range of installation, patching, configuration, and updates to Operating Systems and non-OS vendor applications
Research, analyze and resolve problems effectively to meet established performance metrics for Windows, VMware, Nutanix and other datacenter platforms
Maintain documented procedures for infrastructure as well as change management documentation
Collaborate with team members and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems
Qualifications and Experience Required
Associates Degree or equivalent from a 3-year college or technical school or equivalent experience and / or training.
VMware or similar certification(s)
Other technical certification.
Min 10 years of Server Support Experience
Excellent communication skills.
Should be able to plan and execute new implementations with documentations
Senior Server Administrator with strong knowledge on Components like MS-Azure, Office 365, AD, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, WDS and others
Maintain Documentation and Change Management
Hands on with miscellaneous system admin duties.
Remote Datacenter Administration
Planning, Implementation, Management and Troubleshooting
Knowledge on Disaster Recovery Planning.
Reporting, Documentation, SOP Preparation.
Virtualization : VMware ESXi 6.0, AWS and Hyper-V Servers
Scripting PowerShell, Script, BAT and other
Know on SAN and Storage related platform and technology
Active Directory, DNS, DHCPDomain upgrade, domain migration, configuring and troubleshooting domain trust, replicationsActive directory : configured and maintained Active directory, DNS, DHCP and Group PolicyHardware : Installed, Configured, maintained and troubleshoot server hardware from any one vendor (IBM, HP, UCS, Nutanix and Dell Hardware)Clustering and Redundancy for DNS and DHCPServer OS 2008 / 2012 / 2016Scripting Powershell, VBscript, batch scriptingWSUS administration and Patch management.
