The Opportunity

The inside sales business development (BDR) motion seamlessly ties into the teams and business processes supporting Adobe’s Digital Media (DMe) enterprise organization.

Working closely with GTM, product strategy teams, and sales leadership, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in account-based sales development strategies to optimally deliver pipeline growth across the DMe Americas enterprise business.

This leader will develop close collaboration across the ecosystem to align planning, sales and marketing strategy, target setting, demand gen, and customer support to the organization.

The director will have multiple BDR teams reporting up through front-line managers (FLM) with responsibility of 40+ business development reps (BDR) responsible for all marketing and BDR sourced business pipeline across DMe's Strategic Commercial, Corporate Enterprise, and Public Sector regions and accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the team that builds sales pipeline for Adobe DMe Document Cloud and Creative Cloud enterprise business accounts
  • Mentor and coach front-line managers to establish rigor in their businesses, develop BDR talent, and deliver cross-functional improvements to DMe sales growth
  • Lead sales development messaging and campaigns with product marketing, sales strategy, and demand gen teams
  • Own headcount, quota, and business planning for the Digital Media Enterprise BDR teams
  • Manage sales pipeline qualification process to improve BDR cross-sell pipeline quality, working with sales to deliver consistent & predictable close rates
  • Establish trust, rhythm, and alignment with the corresponding sales & extended ecosystem sales players
  • What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience working with multiple sales partners, developing effective BDR processes across multiple systems, and with the Adobe digital media portfolio
  • Track record of developing managers to improve team performance
  • Ability to empower and energize a diverse sales team to hit quota
  • Data-driven and data-informed leadership; excellent at SFDC and Outreach reporting and Excel modeling
  • Able to proactively diagnose and address gaps in pipeline creation with tactical plans & campaigns cross-functionally with demand gen and field marketing teams
  • Able to measure and diagnose strategic efficacy and recommend course correction / shifts to business plans
