3M is seeking a Cash Application Team Manager for the Finance Global Service Center. This position will be located in Belen, Heredia as part of our Global Service Center in Costa Rica.

Accountable for assuring maximum cash applied of all third party payers and support in maintaining minimum days in accounts receivable.
Assumes supervision, initiation, education and coordination of functions necessary for effective third party payer and collections that includes follow-
up on misapplied payments, collection analysis and procedure implementation, internal and external inquiries, claim payments processing.
Coordinates functions necessary for effective inquiry of customer accounts. The Cash Application Manager is directly responsible for coordinating and overseeing the execution of all training efforts for new and existing employees and assisting staff in adapting new systems that are implemented in efforts to improve efficiency and increase collection and revenue recognition
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of Cash Application professional working experience preferably in a multi-national shared services center
United States Accounts Receivable experience preferred
3+ years supervisory experience
Advance knowledge of Excel required.
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills are critical.
Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement experience
A hands-on leader with excellent track-record leading and developing teams
Excellent project management skills ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
