The Opportunity

The Substance 3D Sales Specialist is a sales professional with experience in

software solution sales, preferably in the 3D environment. The primary goal is to

identify all Adobe ETLA contracts that will renew every quarter (around 200 per

quarter) and to make sure that Substance will be part of the negotiations every time

it does make sense. To do so, the Substance 3D Sales Specialist will have to

connect with the AE / CSM / SC in charge of the accounts and also with the key users &

decision makers within the companies to drive the Substance awareness and usage.

The focus is to sell the Adobe Substance 3D Collection, which is connected

to Adobe’s Creative Cloud, across several verticals, including entertainment

video game & film), product design (fashion, automotive, architecture, etc.)

Retail / e-commerce (Virtual Photography).

The Position is based in California with numerous business trips in North America.

What you’ll do

  • Generation and follow up on opportunities within Enterprise Named Accounts in North America
  • Creation of these new opportunities in Salesforce
  • Implementing comprehensive account sales strategies
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships on C-level and functional levels
  • Leveraging internal resources and business / technical partners to provide solutions to customers’ challenges
  • Collaborating effectively with peers at Adobe’s Substance 3D internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, communication, product development, etc.
  • to deliver joint value propositions for enterprise customers

  • Ongoing tracking and communication of account and vertical market opportunities and issues to the team
  • Creation and updating of sales activity plans, provision of timely and accurate sales forecasts and account plans on an ongoing basis
  • Organizing workshops (Substance demos, Substance Days, Substance Booster) with customers to explain how to integrate Adobe Substance 3D tools into the customers’ workflow
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing
  • What you need to succeed

  • Very good knowledge of enterprise software solutions for 3D workflows & pipelines
  • Ability to call within all levels of an organization, identifying decision makers, and building mid to long-term customer relationships by establishing trust and credibility
  • Hunter mentality
  • Expertise to discover, define, confirm and deliver new opportunities
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functional groups, e.g. Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Partners, etc.
  • Experience in prospecting, account planning, needs analysis, presentations, negotiations and proposal writing
  • Pro-active individual with a can do attitude, motivated to going the extra mile to attain challenging results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
