What does a Business System Analyst do?
An Associate Business Systems Analyst at Fiserv helps to play a key role in defining business needs and functional solutions for Fiserv’s award-winning suite of online banking products.
By applying your personal expertise and group facilitation skills to identify, interpret, and define business needs and features, you will be supporting the process to visualize, document, and communicate functional product solutions that impact the daily lives of millions of online banking users.
As an Associate BSA you can demonstrate your willingness to learn and ability to perform BSA activities and produce deliverables for software development projects.
You will also be provided the opportunity learn BSA skillsets and techniques from mentors and by taking part in the BSA’s in a Community of Practice.
There will be growth opportunities for you as well, as Fiserv provides both management and technical growth paths
Job Responsibilities :
Quickly learn complex product systems, services, structures, architecture and features,
Quickly learn the SAFe Agile SDLC methodology and work alongside other BSAs as a member of Delivery Teams
Map process and look for improvements, optimization and automation opportunities to reduce cycle time and efforts for implementations.
Participate alongside other BSAs as a member of Delivery Teams to supply functional and non-functional requirements, and help facilitate various sprint ceremonies
Document the work items completely and unambiguously
Actively strive to provide the highest quality products and services which meet the needs and requirements of your internal customers

Basic qualifications for consideration :
Bachelor’s Degree, Information Technology and / or related field is preferred
Minimum of 1 year in a IT Software business role
Analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to articulate problems and solution recommendations and socialize those solutions
High Level English is a most.
Strong written and verbal communication, meeting facilitation and collaboration skills
Ability to manage time and coordinate multiple task effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with supervision / direction
Exposure to software product delivery in an Agile / Scrum environment
Financial service industry experience is preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Additional Skills / Knowledge :
Demonstrated skills in analysis, organization, meeting facilitation, writing, editing, communications, and decision-making
Familiarity with online banking / electronic commerce field
Experience in software development would be beneficial
