Role : Application & Cloud Transformation Group Senior Offer Analyst

Location : Costa Rica GAM. Pending VMware’s return to office plans, work will be flexible and alternate between VMware’s office and employee’s home office.

4 new Senior Offer Analyst positions being funded to support the development of Enterprise Agreement subscription proposals acceleration our momentum to a SaaS based licensing company and adding capacity to the pipeline development for the AMER sales team across all US time zones.

Reporting to the Offer Analyst Manager in Costa Rica, the Senior Offer Analysts will provide a dynamic proposal creation engine for the company and support function.

These individuals will provide thought leadership around the ideal transformation from a Perpetual based Enterprise Agreement to some degree of Subscription entitlement focus for large, mid size and even corporate FY’23 sales opportunities.

Working strictly with Dream Bigger named accounts and other Enterprise accounts selected to receive Offer Analyst support, these roles will become pivotal in helping scale our field organization reach through current day subscription trending proposals.

Additional areas of impact for the Offer Analyst may include financial analysis of current state customer spend vs. future state, account research and critically thinking about TCO / ROI positioning for VMware solutions.

We are looking for strategic / analytic, highly motivated individuals with business acumen. Whether you are currently a VMware employee or new to VMware these will be high exposure career-oriented positions with a player coach element in our Costa Rica office.

Responsibilities :

Advisor for strategic opportunity value proposition development including the development of pricing scenarios and related tactical proposals and commercial scenario illustrationsDevelopment of up-sell / cross-sell opportunity proposals via the new Automated Intelligent Proposals (AIP) Tooling for quick scenario modeling and auto generation of impactful PowerPoint presentations Produce customer ready financial business insights using existing Offer Manager tools like the Spend History Report to surface existing customer investment trends.

Analyze customer inventories (Install Base) to determine White Space for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities Proactively consider improvements to large deal eco-systems (process and pricing) with the intent of influencing stakeholders to alternative proposal scenarios Assist with the development of World Class Proposals leveraging Power Point and ExcelAbility to work independently on multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and effectively with cross-functional teamsCollaborate extensively with the US Based Offer Management TeamIn some cases collaborate extensively with the Costa Rica Deal Management Team (DMT) on behalf of VMware account team stakeholders

Required Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or relevant field of study3 - 5+ yrs of IT and or Software Industry experienceAnalytical problem-solving skills - ability to seek insights from data Critical thinking Fluent in EnglishProactive vs.

reactive mind setDemonstrable written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Financial acumen Microsoft Office Skills for presentation work (especially Excel and Power Point)Comfortable participating in dynamic internal conversations and providing a Point of View
