The Opportunity
Come join the Employee Experience Team as a Sr Manager, Compensation Strategy & Design, reporting to Adobe’s Sr Director, Global Compensation Educate HR Business Partners and Managers on Adobe’s compensation programs to help them make informed decisions.
This role requires a strong operational compensation partner who will build solid relationships with the HR Business Partners and Managers, through a proactive approach in anticipating needs and bringing a solutions oriented mindset to resolving issues.
What you'll Do
Lead a team of compensation program managers and specialists to support the design, execution and communication of compensation programs
Ensure competitive compensation to acquire and retain exceptional talent; develop and maintain keen market insights across all levels of employees.
Drive critical compensation initiatives, often leading cross-organizational project teams i.e., compensation planning / review process, education for managers and employees.
Lead all D&I related compensation activities including pay parity analysis, opportunity parity analysis and statutory gender pay analysis for the various countries.
Project manage a variety of cross-segment strategic initiatives which include technology compensation programs evaluation, job family standardizations, research market practices.
Work in critical partnership with Compensation Business Partners to align global programs with regional compensation and local requirements.
Play active role on Adobe Global Compensation leadership team to prioritize compensation activities and ensure smooth execution of compensation priorities
Conduct research and analysis to provide recommendations for compensation strategy and programs, and drive processes locally for region-specific compensation requirements
Drive Diversity & Inclusion compensation related activities, including both Adobe lead projects and statutory gender pay initiatives.
Provide compensation support and analysis to support merger and acquisition activity.
Participate in projects lead by other Adobe teams where compensation expertise and guidance are required.
Work closely with benefits, payroll, legal, and employee resource centre to ensure alignment and compliance, as needed.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance / Accounting, Business, Economics or related field preferred
Prior experience as people manager, preferably leading compensation teams
A minimum of 12 years in HR experience
Experience working with compensation program design, competitive market analysis, forecasting trends / costs and modeling outcomes
Familiarity with compensation compliance rules regionally
Strong Excel skills and analytical skills
Confidence to work directly with senior business leaders
Must have good interpersonal and client facing skills with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure strong stakeholder management
Strong organizational and time-management skills, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Collaborative teammate, capable of contributing beyond compensation
Self-starter and resourceful with demonstrated ability to work optimally in matrixed work environment
